Meet the makers
Hi! We're Kaylin and Erika, the sisters and founders of Oak & Ember.
From a very early age, you could find us creating and crafting together. We spent much of our childhood painting, sculpting, coloring, baking, scrapbooking, or drawing with whatever we could get our hands on.
As we've grown, we've each carried our love for creating together - eventually, landing upon the beautiful art of candle-making.
Oak & Ember began as a creative endeavor that we took great joy in, as we proudly burned our first creations. We've grown our passion for hand-made goods into the thoughtfully prepared candles you can shop today.
Our candles are hand-poured with love, family-made and celebrate the joys of the simple moments in life that make us smile.

Our candles are made with the highest quality coconut apricot wax, crackling wood wick, and luxurious fragrances - free of toxins, parabens, and phthalates and passing the highest standards for safety and purity.
They are hand-poured into beautiful vessels designed to be re-purposed as functional home decor or refilled to enjoy time and time again.
